Evaluation 2

How does your media product represent particular social groups?

On the left is our main protagonist in our media production and on the right is Liam Neeson who plays Bryan Mills in the film Taken.

Appearance
These two characters are similar because both of these characters also have a serious expression on their face which makes them look threatening. There are also differences between these two characters, for example: you can't see part of Liam Neeson's face which makes him look more mysterious, where as our character is fully visible in the day time. The two character's ages are also a main difference between the two characters.

Role in Film
The role of Liam Neeson in his film is similar to our protagonist's role because they both try to find out why they are being attacked by the antagonists. They are also similar because they are both forced to use violence in situations where they don't want to fight. Their roles in their films are also different because Liam Neeson is rescuing his daughter in the first Taken Movie and our main protagonist is randomly confronted while walking down a path.

Costume
The two characters are both dressed smartly and look they are part of some secret organisation. The colour of their clothes are also very similar, their clothes are both dark and make them look mysterious. A difference is their costume is that Liam Neeson is wearing a leather coat where as our character isn't wearing a leather coat.
